Lisière marks Pierre-Luc Poujol’s first exhibition with the gallery. At the threshold between appearance and disappearance, Poujol’s work explores gesture as an act of memory and painting as a fragile inscription in time.

Rooted in a lasting engagement with the living world, his practice centers on the tree—not as a motif, but as a material and conceptual presence. Using branches, ashes, charcoal, and vegetal fragments, he allows matter to act, embracing chance, resistance, and transformation.

Lisière unfolds in a zone of transition—between abstraction and figuration, control and accident—where painting does not represent nature but brings it to life, carrying the traces of time, erosion, and persistence.
