We are proud to announce the exhibition “Where Wild Things Grow” by Danish artist Henrik Simonsen. Please join us for the opening on Thursday 28 May, 6 pm.
Born in Denmark in 1974, Simonsen studied art in his native country before spending two years studying in New York and then at Exeter College of Art and Design. He has exhibited his work in group shows throughout the UK, and recently in America and in Denmark. He currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
Henrik Simonsen about his work: “Nature has been the subject matter of my work for over decade. I have been exploring the richness of nature as a metaphor for the strength and frailty, the passions and weaknesses, inherent in the human experience. To me the work is a visual diary of my observations and experiences along the at times overgrown path of existence. “
