Le Salon Vert is delighted to present a new exhibition by Chilean-born artist Francisco Sepulveda, who has lived and worked in France since 2006. Night Tales brings together a vibrant ensemble of paintings, etchings, and a ceramic piece, all inspired by the magical realm of storytelling.

Deeply rooted in the myths and oral traditions of his native Chile, Sepulveda’s poetic and intensely colored works weave together memory, imagination, and ancestral narratives. Through a variety of techniques—from small etchings and painted collages to large-scale canvases—he invites us into a dreamlike universe where childhood wonder and ancient voices intertwine.

There is a place where memory and dreams merge, where my childhood continues to breathe...” writes the artist, evoking the nocturnal tales told to him by his childhood caretaker, Carmela—stories that still illuminate his imagination and artistic vision today.

Francisco Sepulveda studied drawing, painting, and printmaking at the Escuela de Arte UC (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) and at the Atelier Wifredo Lam, where he explored experimental engraving techniques. His work has been exhibited internationally—in France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Mozambique, the Philippines, Lithuania, the United States, and across Latin America—and is held in numerous public collections worldwide.
