Le Salon Vert was founded by Angela Wollny in 2014 in Carouge, Geneva in order to foster young and mid-career artists.  The classical conception of an art gallery is extended to a convivial and stimulating space for all: artists, art enthusiasts and committed collectors.

We present a diverse group of local and international artists who explore and examine notions of narrative, the idea of space and the natural world using work with a clear intent to master its medium.

The gallery program focuses on classical techniques (like painting and drawing) which are applied in a contemporary context. Artists such as Heike Weber, Sue Williams A’Court, Thomas Maisonnasse, Susanna Bauer, Stéphane Erouane Dumas and Mathilde Tinturier also create architectural installations for commissions destined for public or private spaces.

In 2016, Le Salon Vert gallery was admitted to Geneva’s Association of Contemporary Art Galleries as well as the Association of Carouge Galleries ARTCAROUGE.
