Parcours Céramique Carougeois

17 September 2022 - 25 September 2022

Vernissage: 17 September from 1.30 am to 5 pm, with the artist.

Exhibition on the occasion of the 17th Parcours Céramique Carougeois, an event organized by the Bruckner Foundation.

For this year’s Parcours Céramique Carougeois, Salon Vert is delighted to welcome Alice Walton (born 1987), a British ceramics artist whose work has garnered international renown.

Alice Walton works with colored clay in its various plastic states, looking to bring out the material’s meditative process. Her sculptural and abstract shapes explore complex, intense textures that draw the viewer in. In a world that keeps changing from minute to minute, she attempts to slow down, giving her work space to evolve, brick by brick, pin mark by pin mark. Her work is a study of the everyday, taking the time to notice and re-evaluate the unseen objects that surround us.
